Overview

If the #1 ranked golfer in the world is headed to your agave fields, you’re going to want to document their visit. That’s precisely what Maestro Dobel requested after they invited Jon Rahm to Tequila, Jalisco. To announce the collaboration, they asked us to create a visually stunning asset emphasizing the relationship between tequila and golf. Oh…and within ten days and a 100k budget.

The result? Over 72,000+ impressions on social channels, an adapted TVC, and a happy client.


The Challenge

Maestro Dobel needed a high-impact storytelling piece on a 10-day and $100k production timeline/budget that would:

  • Capture Jon Rahm’s visit to the source of the brand

  • Feel cinematic and authentic

  • Work across social platforms

This wasn’t just about a celebrity visiting a distillery.

It was about a master of golf visiting the masters of tequila.

We wanted to highlight that, although the fields may differ, being the smoothest in the game (a Maestro) means dedicating yourself to craft and mastery. By framing the collaboration around this shared ethos, the story shifted from endorsement to mutual admiration.

Once we made this connection between golf and tequila, we were able to craft an authentic piece that wasn’t just a celebrity endorsement, but a shared experience between brand, athlete, and audience.

Results

Fitting within budget and production timeline, we built a social-ready visual asset that:

  • Documented Jon Rahm’s visit to Maestro Dobel’s agave fields

  • Received over 72,000+ impressions on social channels

  • Got adapted into a TVC!

The final piece balanced artful imagery with narrative authenticity, showcasing not just Rahm’s presence, but a true connection between him and Maestro Dobel.
